Every year it improves with lots of novelties and always offers very curious animals in its three sections: Tropicarium, Aquarium, Predators.
BLUE FLAG
Jesolo is Blue Flag for Beaches 2021
As has been the case since 2004, the International Commission that analyses and evaluates data on the environmental characteristics of competing cities has decreed that Jesolo is perfectly in line with the restrictive environmental requirements that must be met in order to hoist the now famous Blue Flag.
The FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education), the international organisation that awards the Blue Flag, not only checks the absolute quality of the bathing water, but also analyses many other data on the city’s environmental performance: the quality and effectiveness of differentiated waste collection; the capacity for purifying sewage; the presence of pedestrian areas and cycle paths; the balance between tourist activities and respect for nature.
Moreover, to obtain the Blue Flag it is necessary to ensure quality services (rescue, toilets, beach cleaning), environmental education initiatives addressed to tourists, residents and especially to young people, as well as to ensure the accessibility of the beach also for disabled people.
From June 1st to September 15th, panels will be put up along the Jesolo beach, near the seafront promenade, in accordance with the FEE regulations. The panels will show the data of bathing water quality and will be continuously updated, so that every tourist can bathe in complete peace of mind.
Obtaining the Blue Flag is not an extemporaneous event, but the result of an environmental policy implemented with rationality and continuity. This is the only way to achieve and consolidate those results of excellence that enhance the area and qualify a city that opens its doors to guests who are increasingly careful to minimising the environmental impact of their holidays.
You can trust in a Blue Flag beach!
CYCLE ROUTES IN JESOLO
Jesolo Ambient Bike is a guide that helps you to discover the over 150 km of cycle paths in the city of Jesolo.
6 routes designed and planned in collaboration with Jesolo Patrimonio to integrate the tourism offer and give the opportunity to discover the area and its features while being in contact with nature.
The project is part of the development programme of the Rete Escursionistica Veneta (Veneto Hiking Network), so the routes will be adequately signposted with the signs provided for in the guidelines of the Veneto Region. The signs will have a dual function: to orient tourists along the route and to promote the initiative.
